Join artist Sheleen McElhinney of Willow and Sprig for an introduction to spun cotton sculpture, a traditional form of decorative folk art.
In this two-hour workshop, Sheleen will guide participants through the process of shaping and layering cotton fibers to create their own decorative spun cotton swan.
Using simple materials and techniques that can easily
be continued at home, participants will explore the versatility of this traditional craft and leave with a finished swan sculpture.
All materials included. No prior experience necessary.
