Introduction to Embroidery

Pride Week Workshop
2 hour session | $60.00
Wednesday, June 24th 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Saturday, June 27th 9:00 - 11:00 am

Join us during Pride Week for an introduction to embroidery, conversation, and making together. Participants will create a small hand-embroidered piece featuring the phrase “You Belong Here” using a modern embroidery pattern and a thoughtfully assembled materials kit.

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed as a relaxed introduction to embroidery. We’ll cover basic stitches, how to transfer and follow a pattern, working with embroidery floss, and finishing your piece in the hoop. No prior experience
is needed.

Each participant will receive a kit that includes fabric, embroidery hoop, needle, floss, pattern, and all materials needed for class.

A portion of proceeds from the workshop will be donated to HiTOPS, a local organization supporting LGBTQ+ teens and young adults.

Come spend an evening making something by hand in a welcoming and
creative environment.
