A small, guided workshop for knitters ready to move beyond the basics.
In this three-part series, we’ll work through The Anker’s Sweater by PetiteKnit. You may choose to knit either the Anker’s Summer Tee or Anker Jr., using the project as a way to build confidence reading patterns and shaping a garment.
This class is best suited for those who know how to knit and purl, but are new to garment construction. We’ll take the pattern step by step—learning how to read it, follow it, and make decisions along the way.
Over three sessions, we’ll cover:
reading and understanding a pattern
sizing, gauge, and yarn selection
raglan increases and shaping
separating sleeves and working the body
finishing techniques and troubleshooting
This is a small class, with plenty of time for questions and individual guidance.
Supplies are not included, but all materials are available at the shop. We’re happy to help you select yarn and needles before the first session.
